Cross County Center Renovation Approved

The City of Yonkers has approved Papp Architects’ renovation design of the former Sears department store in the Cross County Center. A Target store will occupy two floors of the 230,000 square foot, four-story building, and the remaining space will be divided into several tenants. In addition to the installation of new vertical transportation, the exterior of the building will be renovated with new façade materials, entrances, and windows cut into the monolithic exterior walls. Construction is scheduled to commence in January.
