Lazlo Papp, FAIA Honored


Laszlo Papp, FAIA, Founder of Papp Architects, P.C., has been presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who’s Who. See the article in the Chicago Evening Post.

In addition to being an Architect, Mr. Papp, who turned 89 this year, is an educator, past Chairman of the New Canaan, CT Planning and Zoning Commission, Vice Chairman of the American Hungarian Foundation, Chairman of the Hungarian American Memorial Committee, Past President of the Westchester Mid-Hudson Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and former Executive Director of City of Stamford, CT Urban Redevelopment Commission. Prior to emigrating to the United States, Mr. Papp was a freedom fighter in the 1956 Hungarian Revolution.
