One DeKalb Construction Progressing

Wall panels are being set and floor structure is being erected at 1 DeKalb Avenue in White Plains. For walls above the second floor, this project was designed with Panelized Light Gauge Metal Framing fabricated, off-site, by Duraframe Solutions in in Webster, New York. The panels arrive pre-sheathed with an air and moisture barrier and are lifted in place with a crane. All the exterior, corridor, and shear walls are panelized; interior non-load bearing walls will be constructed on-site. The 77-unit multi-family building is on schedule for completion in before the end of year.
